Election preparedness reviewed in Kulgam

KULGAM: Randomization of Electronic Voting Machines has been completed in presence of the concerned Observers and representatives of political parties for smooth conduct of Assembly Election to be held on 2nd December, 2014 in the district and also randomization for deployment of polling staff has been completed in presence of Observers. This was given out in a meeting of officers convened to review the poll preparedness here.
The District Election Officer impressed upon all employees associated with the election process to ensure necessary arrangements for fair and free elections in their respective areas as per the guidelines of Election Commission of India issued from time to time.
The District Election Officer was briefed that all the necessary strategies have been worked out in the most difficult and inaccessible areas. Besides the training programmes for third phase concluded on 20th November, 2014, where in about 2,000 employees have been trained for Presiding Officer, PI, P2 and P3 with the objective for ensuring smooth conclusion of election process in the district.
The District Election Officer called for coordinated efforts for making the election process successful in the district.
