SRINAGAR: The Election Commission on Wednesday issued notification for the fourth phase of the five-phased Assembly Elections in Jammu and Kashmir for 18 constituencies going to polls on December 14.
The fourth phase will be the last one for Kashmir Valley where sixteen Assembly segments spread over three districts of committee, State election departments incharge and members.
Present in the meeting included, Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Jagat Prakash Nadda, State Election Management Campaign committee Chairman and Union MoS in PMO Dr. Jitendra Singh, National General Secretary (Org.) Ram Lal, State President and MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Leader of Legislative Party Ashok Khajuria, National Executive Member Shamsher Singh Manhas and party leader Ajatshatru Singh.
The National President sought detailed work done by various committees formed by the party for successful conduct of the electioneering.
During the meeting prominent politician from Akhnoor Pt. Govind Ram Sharma, along with his son Suresh Sharma, joined BJP. He was welcomed into the party fold by BJP National President Amit Shah.
