JAMMU: Division Bench of State High Court comprising Chief Justice M.M Kumar and Justice Tashi Rabstan directed Union of India to file reply on details of LoC mine blast victims receiving ex-gratia and when was the last meeting held to approve the relief.
The Bench gave these direction after hearing Advocate Deepika Singh Rajawat for PIL, AAG Ravinder Sharma for the State and ASGI K.K Pangotra appearing for Union of India,
Division Bench further observed that the reply filed by the Deputy Commissioner Poonch shows that ex-gratia compensation has been paid to some persons and the reply filed by DC Poonch is not complete and directed him to place on record complete information by disclosing the names of the victims and those who have been paid compensation.
