JKPS Kunjwani students bring laurels for J-K

JAMMU: Swapnila Acharya, a Class V student of JK Public School Kunjwani, Jammu won first place in an All India Drawing Competition held on the occasion of Children’s Day on 14th November 2014. The competition was organised by OneIndia, Bengaluru based international web portal. The result was declared today evening.
Swapnila and Swapnil both twin brother and sister and student of JKPS took part in the competition in Group A category.
The theme was a cartoon character.
Swpnila won first place while Swapnil’s drawing was selected among the best five drawings.
Swapnila, daughter of Shib Narayan and Sarmistha Acharya, earlier won national-level competition organised by Army in New Delhi and NHPC.
She also won in a drawing competition held by J and K Academy of Art, Culture and Language.
When contacted, her mother Sarmistha said that she was really happy and proud of her children. She also thanked and said all the credit for such an achievement must go to JK Public School and their drawing teacher Sonia and Neetu.
