UDHAMPUR: Director Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy (SKPA) Udhampur, Danesh Rana on Saturday facilitated Inspector Jagpal Sharma for receiving “Khan Bahadur Azizul Haque Rolling Shield, Citation and cash reward of Rs. 5,000.
The Director has appreciated the achievement of the officer for securing 1st Position in All India Board Examination for Finger Print Expert-2013 conducted by National Crime Records Bureau, MHA Govt. of India New Delhi.
Inspector Jagpal Sharma who is M.Sc (Geology) was initially appointed as Sub Inspector in J and K Police in 1998 and was promoted as Inspector in the year 2005. The officer has also undergone one year proficiency in Finger Print Sciences course during the year 2005-06 from Central Finger Print Bureau Kolkata (West Bengal) and there he secured 2nd Position.
At present the officer is serving as I/C FSL Indoor wing of SKPA Udhampur.
