UDHAMPUR: A deputation of All J and K ReT Teachers Forum led by State President Vinod Sharma on Tuesday called on State Project Director SSA, S.A Lehrwal regarding release of SSA salary. While interacting with SPD, Vinod Sharma put forth the demand of release of several months SSA salary of regualrised ReT Teachers under SSA including one year pay arrears of regualrsied EVS.
Lehrwal disclosed that no State or Centre share under SSA has been released due to which there is salary crisis. He said that Rs. 216 crore released by Centre have already been disbursed but still there is much more pendency in grants and assured to release the same as and when the centre or state share is received.
Meanwhile ReT Forum held a meeting after meeting SPD SSA and threatened to boycott election duties if their salaries are not released before 20th of Nov. 2014. Provinical Present Rajesh Singh Jamwal while speaking in the meeting said that in Poonch SSA Salary is pending for last eight months, in Kathua for six months, in Jammu for three months, in Doda for four months and in all other Distts two to three months which is a matter of concern and they are forced to take such a decision to boycott election duties.
Others who were present in the deputation and in the meeting – Lekh Raj Parihar, Sham Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Subash Chander, Devinder Singh, Jasbir Singh, Navjot Singh, Sandeep, Manzoor Ahmed, Rakesh Kumar, Rajinder Singh and Rajinder Kumar.
