KISHTWAR: B.Sc Part I defeated B.Sc Part III by 32 runs in the inaugural match of Intra-college Cricket Tournament, played at Government Degree College Ground, here on Tuesday.
Batting first, B.Sc Part I scored 92 runs in allotted 10 overs. Chasing the target, B.Sc III was bundled out on 60 runs in 9.5 overs.
Hinan of B.Sc Part I was declared Man of the Match for his all round performance. He scored 19 runs and also took two wickets. The match was officiated by Prof Satish Thakur and Prof Rafeeq Ahmed.
Earlier the tournament was inaugurated by Prof Kuldeep Sharma, faculty member of the college in presence of other staff members. A total of eight teams are participating in the tournament.
