Rajendra chairs security meeting, reviews Darbar Move arrangements

JAMMU: To review the security arrangements for re-opening of Civil Secretariat and other Darbar Move offices in winter capital of the State tomorrow, a meeting of senior police officers was convened at PCR here this afternoon. Chaired by the Director General of Police (DGP), K. Rajendra Kumar, the meeting was also attended by Additional Directors General of Police, S.P Vaid and S.M Sahai.
During the meeting, Rajendra sought reports about the security arrangements put in place for smooth re-opening of move offices in winter capital.
The meeting discussed security and other arrangements made by different wings of Jammu and Kashmir Police for Darbar Move and it was informed that all necessary steps have been taken to ensure the security of civil secretariat and other Darbar Move offices.
Addressing the meeting, the DGP stressed upon the officers to work in close coordination and make all required security arrangements to keep the law and order maintained.
He also asked the officers to formulate a comprehensive traffic plan for Jammu City to ensure better traffic management so that people are not put to any inconvenience due to security reasons.
Among others, the meeting was attended by IsGP, A.K Choudhary, Deepak Kumar, Muneer Ahmed Khan, Rajesh Kumar and S.A Watali, DIsGP, Shakeel Ahmed Beig and Ali Mohammad, SSP Jammu, Uttam Chand and other police officers.
