JAMMU: All India Backward Classes Union (AIBCU) on Friday lambasted Congress and NC for adopting treacherous attitude towards State Other Backward Classes (OBCs). Addressing a meeting, President AIBCU Abdul Majid Malik said that State OBCs will ensure that NC and Congress should be ousted in the ensuing Assembly polls for adopting treacherous attitude under the garb of Article 370 by way of making and creating their own rule only to loot the due share of the State OBCs in the name of RBA/ALC and Pahari language as a base of reservation.
“Besides NC and Congress continued to harass State Subjects by enforcing wrong job policy, withdrawal of SRO 43, no relief to the VRS and Jail-wardens, left the process of teachers’ appointment halfway, no relief to the government employees and pensioners, etc”, he added.
Union members termed the regularisation of daily wagers and up-gradation of schools as election stunt as no concurrence has been sought from the planning department.
Participants also demanded thorough probe into ministers’ disproportionate assets acquired during their tenure as ministers.
Abdul Qadir Dhobi, Shabir Ahmed, Abdul Rashid Malik, Sandokh Chand, Bodh Raj Dogra, Principal Darshal Lal, Master Sain Dass, Puran Chargotra and Prof Kali Dass also spoke on the occasion.
