IECS Polytechnic organises entrepreneurship development programme

JAMMU: IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, Domana in collaboration with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development Institute (MSME-DI), Government of India organised 10 days long entrepreneurship development programme here on Friday.
Resource persons including Bharat Bhushan Raina, Industrialist Proprietor Pelican Cables, Joy Ganjoo, Chairman, Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers, Loveneesh Kapoor, Chartered Accountant, Kashiv Dutt Sharma from Department of Industries and Commerce, Mahesh Dutt Bali, Chief Manager, Punjab National Bank, Anil Koul, Senior Partner, AS and Associates, Manik Arora, Assistant Professor Department of Tourism, University of Jammu, Ajay Singh Jamwal, Dean Administration, IECS Polytechnic and H.C Vaid HoD Mechanical Department, North Polytechnic delivered lectures covering wide range of topics such as entrepreneurial motivation through success story, sustaining entrepreneurship, managing time effectively and overview of project formulation, understanding the State industrial policy and learning about various incentives applicable to entrepreneur, learning about the collateral credit facilities available to entrepreneur under Government of India sponsored schemes, working capital management, leadership style, business communication, sales and marketing management.
Prof K.G Gupta, Principal, IECS Polytechnic asserted that such kind of programme is the need of the hour to cater unemployment by inculcating entrepreneurship skill among students and encourage them to become entrepreneur.
