JAMMU: All J and K Retired Police NGO and ORS Personal Forum on Wednesday staged a protest against the State Government seeking rectification in pay anomaly which has been denied after the implementation of Fifth Pay Commission.
Retired police personnel led by President of the Forum, Ajit Singh assembled at Press Club and staged protest against the State Government.
While talking to reporters, Singh mentioned that the government has failed to rectify pay anomaly to the police persons under Fifth Pay Commission.
Singh asserted that this is clear violation of the High Court order as the Forum had already filed a suit in this regard.
Singh warned the government to remove pay anomaly with regard to the retired persons otherwise the Forum has no other option but to intensify their protest and come on streets.
Among those who were present in the protest include Mohammad Maqsood Vice President, Hari Singh, Harbans Lal, Mohammad Sharif, Hoshnak Chand, Zakir Hussain, Sham Sunder, Yog Raj Sharma, Bopinder Singh, Mohammad Shagir, Hoshnak Sharma, Ramnik Singh, Bhaghal Singh, Trilok Singh, Ranjeet Singh, Mohinder Singh, Madan Lal, Rattan Lal, Bihari Lal, Kirpal Singh, Balwant Singh, Ashok Kumar, Makhan Singh, Sham Lal Sharma, Hardev Singh, Manjeet Singh, Gurdev Singh, Raghuvir Singh and Jagdish Lal.
