JAMMU: PG Department of Blood Transfusion Medicine, Government Medical College, Jammu, in collaboration with J and K State AIDS Prevention and Control Society, Jammu and Regional Red Cross Society, Jammu, organised a voluntary blood donation camp at Government Degree College (GDC) Samba.
The voluntary blood donors from the Red Cross Society and college participated in the camp and donated blood voluntarily. Donors were screened by medical officer along with his team from GMC Jammu before donation. The blood mobile van was deputed for the camp. About 80 units of blood were collected in the camp.
