JAMMU: National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of JK College of Education observed Road Safety Week from 24th to 31st October, 2014.
During this week, slogan writing competition was organised.
The theme of the competition was ‘Don’t, Drink and Drive’. The volunteers actively participated in the competition and coined attractive slogans depicting the theme.
Programme Incharge, Neelam Mahajan emphasised that the safety of each citizen lies in his/her hand.
Awareness rally was also organized during the week where in general public as well as volunteers were informed about the traffic rules and regulations.
Principal, JK College of Education, Shashi Chaudhary appreciated the efforts of the volunteers in making the Road Safety Week a success.
