JAMMU: Continuing its activities under ‘Wakeup Jammu Campaign’ under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP), a voters awareness camp was organized at Model High School Satwari in which thousands of people drawn from all walks of life participated.
Experts from Assistant Commissioner (Dev) office Jammu sensitized the people about their right to vote and urged them to ensure their greater participation for stronger Democracy.
EVM handling, online registration of voters, correction, addition, deletion and manual filling up of form No. 6 etc. were also made available and people availed all these facilities.
A signature campaign was also launched on behalf of District Election Officer, Jammu Ajeet Kumar Sahu in which 100 of people participated and pledge to vote on 20th December 2014 and also aware their kiths and kins to participated in electoral process. ACD Jammu, Suram C Sharma, General Manager DIC Jammu Vishal Sharma, BDO Mathwar Tasir Balwan and other staff were also present.
