Vigilance awareness week concludes

KISHTWAR: Vigilance awareness observed at Dulhasti Power Station and Bursar HE Project of NHPC Limited, Kishtwar from 27th October to 1st November, concluded on Saturday. H. Bulchandani, Chief Engineer (Civil), Dulhasti Power Station graced the closing ceremony as Chief Guest during a function, organised at Officers Club, Dulhasti Power Station. Besides Sr. Officers from NHPC Limited and State Govt., Media Persons, Nishi Kant Mahajan, Project Vigilance Officer, NHPC Limited, Members of Ladies Club, KV teachers /students and NHPC employees were present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Bulchandani recalled Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, ‘Iron Man’ of India who has been a great leader in Good Governance. He further said that delay breeds corruption and corruption is anti society and anti nation. He advised all the employees to be transparent and positive in their day to day work for the benefit of Organisation and country as a whole.
KV children presented colourful cultural programmes on the occasion which were appreciated by all. Two eminent personalities from Kishtwar G.R.Sheikh, retired Superintending Engineer and Hans Raj Rana, Educationist were the special invitees who were honoured by Chief Guest by presenting them mementos in view of the valuable services rendered by them to the society. The function concluded with distribution of prizes among the winners of various competitions, viz., essay competition on ‘role of technology in combating corruption’, debate competition on various subjects for employees, ladies and children as organised during the Vigilance Awareness Week and vote of thanks by N.K. Mahajan, Project Vigilance Officer.
