DAP leaders hold candle march against Rajouri killings

JAMMU: Following the directions of party Chairman Ghulam Nabi Azad, the delegation of Democratic Azad Party on Tuesday carried out candle light march against the killing of six civilians by terrorists in Rajouri. Provincial President and former minister Jugal Sharma, while condemning the inhuman and cowardly act, said that the government has totally failed to check insurgency, the target killings are increasing in J&K despite its tall claims. He asked the authorities to awake from the deep slumber and save lives of innocent people.
Speaking on the occasion, the party leaders said that DAP is strongly condemning the barbaric act of terrorism which consumed six precious lives and injured many more. He said that no society can ever accept these cowardly acts and deserves condemnation in strongest words.
“Such acts of terrorism are aimed to distort our brotherhood and religious harmony. But we salute the people of Rajouri who stood united against such elements and once again proved that they love peace and brotherhood,” they said. They appealed the people of Rajouri never to fall for such attempts and always stand united in trying times.
Earlier, DAP leaders visited Rajouri and met the injured persons in terrorists attack. The delegation led by party Vice Chairman & former Minister GM Saroori, Provincial Vice President Naresh Gupta, Chief Spokesperson Salman Nizami visited the injured in GMC hospital Rajouri.
