JKPS Kunjwani lifts Cricket Tournament trophy, hosted by BOMIS

JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani lifted the Trophy of Birla Open Minds International School (BOMIS) Cricket Tournament 2022. The final was played between JK Public School Kunjwani and Birla Open Minds International School.
JKPS Kunjwani won the toss and decided to bat first. Team JKPS scored 121 runs in 10 overs. On the other hand, Team BOMIS scored 92 runs in 9.4 overs and lost all the 10 wickets. Team JKPS won the tournament by 29 runs.
In the batting order, Saksham Gupta performed brilliantly (highest 35 runs) followed by Vishav Pratap Singh (32 runs) and Shourya Charak (31 runs).
Bowling spree was also brilliant, as Sahil Saini took 04 wickets; Shourya Charak, 2 wickets; Zaffer Azzia, Bhavik Sumbria and Rameshwar Singh took 1 wicket each.
The Champion team included Vishav Pratap Singh, Saksham Gupta, Shourya Charak, Bhavik Sumbria, Jaffer Aziz Naik, Sahil Saini, Priyansh Sharma, Angad Singh, Dhruv Dogra, Mehul Sharma, Aashray Verma, Kankshit Chanyal, Rudraksh Vaid, Pinder Paul Singh and Rameshwar Singh.
Director JK Public School Kunjwani, Shashi Chaudhary and school Principal Rajesh Rathore congratulated and felicitated the winners in the school assembly and applauded the school Cricket Coaches Vijay Dogra, Akash Choudhary and HOD (Sports) Subash Chander for bringing laurels to the school.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore applauded both the teams for putting up a great show. He congratulated the players of both the teams for their sincere endeavours & for exhibiting high standard of discipline & sportsman sipirt throughout the tournament.
He lauded JKiians for their outstanding fitness & stamina. Some brilliant catches gathered by the JKiians shall be treasured in the casket of reminiscences by the audience for a long time. He wished all the children great innings ahead.
