NPS employees to observe Black Day on Jan 1, rally on Jan 2

JAMMU: All India Pension Restoration United Front (AIPRUF) has given a protest call on January 1 and January 2, 2023 at Press Club, Jammu and Press Colony, Srinagar. An emergency meeting of AIPRUF/JKTA announced calendar of protest under the leadership of UT President JKTA and National Convenor AIPRUF, Bhupinder Singh, which was and attended by Sudesh Kumar DP Udhampur JKTA, Surjeet Singh District Chairman JKTA, Surinder Khajuria Spokesperon AIPRUF (J&K),Raghubir Singh ,Surinder Kumar (Patwar Association ), Akash Kumar District President All Sheep and Wool workers Association , Chander Partap, Sanjeev Singh District President Horticulture Association , Sunil Sumberia, Satish Sharma (Horticulture Association), Arjun Singh Bhagwan Singh, Mubarak , Tirth Ram (Lineman Workers Union) Sunil Salaria, Pradeep Sharma, Kuldeep Singh, Ravi kumar, Sanjeev, Darshan Singh and others. The meeting decided to observe Black Day on January 1, 2023 and to held a protest demonstration on January 2, 2023 in support of their demand of restoration of Old Pension scheme for employees of Jammu and Kashmir.
It is worthwhile to mention here that on January 1, 2010, Old Pension scheme was stopped. Speaking on the occasion, Bhupinder Singh urged NPS employees to participate in protest at Press Club, Jammu and Press Colony, Srinagar at 11 AM on both the days. Protest will also be held at Press Club, Srinagar under the leadership of Shah Fayaz Chairman JKTA and President JKECC.
