MENDHAR: Three houses collapsed during heavy rains and a buffalo was killed in the border Tehsil Mendhar, district Poonch.According to report three houses belonging to a widow Sakeeni Bi wife of Mohd Shafi resident of Kasblari, Tehsil Mendhar, Muzaffar Hussain son of Bagh Hussain resident of Kalaban and Mohd Azeem son of Mohd Khan resident of Galutha, Mendhar collapsed on Friday due to incessant rains. Besides these houses one buffalo of Mohd Azeem was also killed. The youth leader of PDP Nadeem Rafiq Khan has urged the government to provide shelter to the families residing in these houses and also they be given suitable compensation at the earliest.
