NOWSHERA: JKPCC Chief Spokesman Ravinder Sharma said that PDP-BJP Govt. has created mess and derailed the ration supply system in the State.
Sharma was speaking in the meeting of Block Congress Committee Nowshera, today. He said that previous PDP-BJP Govt. has derailed the ration supply system in the State due to unplanned and hasty decision without taking adequate measures to maintain the quota of ration, as a result the people are suffering. Although the Governor administration has taken certain initiatives but still the mess created by previous Govt. has not been streamlined to the satisfaction and needs of the people, when the farmers suffered a lot on various account.
He said that the farmers of Sunderbani, Beripattan and part of Nowshera Tehsil have suffered a huge loss caused due to heavy rains and unprecedented hail storm. The wheat crops, vegetables and the fruit crops and other live stock of the farmers have been adversely affected. He urged upon the concerned authorities to immediately rush the adhoc relief to the affected people, besides special teams comprising of departments of revenue, Agriculture, Horticulture and Sericulture etc. should be deputed to the affected areas to assess the loss, so that the affected people are compensated.
Sharma also expressed concern over the grievances of people regarding issuance of Aadhar cards. He said that many people have registered themselves but they have not received Aadhar cards, concerned authorities should expedite the process in order to provide Aadhar card to all the people.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting included Som Nath, H.L Bakshi, Ch. Tara Chand, Subash Kapoor, Mukund Lal, Isher Singh, Bhimsen Raina, Ramji Dass Sharma, Capt. Ajit Singh, Gourav advocate, Shaffi Choudhary, Sarwan Dass, S. Charan Singh, Capt. Bed Choudhry,, Kulwant Choudhar, AmitKumar, Pashori Lal, Capt. Kuldeep Singh, Mangat Ram Sharma, Satiya Devi, Anita Sharma and others.
Earlier Ravinder Sharma visited villages Beripattan, Kangri, Thangar, Dhok Bamyal, Thichha, Sari, Tanda, and several other affected areas where farmers have suffered huge loss due to recent heavy rains and hail storms. Sharma took stock of the problems of affected people and said that it is unfortunate that nobody from the higher Govt. authorities has visited the affected areas sofar.
