JKPS Kunjwani excels in district level gymnastics, athletics competitions

JAMMU: In the Jammu District Athletics Championship held on November 20, 2022 at Women College, Gandhi Nagar here, JK Public School Kunjwani won four medals including one gold, one silver and two bronze.
The winners include Aakriti Singh (Gold in Short Put), Prabhjot Singh (Silver in Long Jump), Saahish Gupta and Princeepal Singh (Bronze each in 300 Meter and Short Put).
Similarly, on the District Level Gymnastic Competition, Rajveer Singh won bronze medal in individual category whereas the school Coach Dhruv Dewan clinched the gold medal in Senior Category.
Both the events were organized by the Directorate of Youth Service and Sports, J&K.
Shashi Chaudhary, Director JK Public School and Principal Rajesh Rathore felicitated the winners in the school assembly.
The school Coach Shivdev Singh (Athletics) and Dhurv Dewan (Gymnastics) along with Subash Chander, HOD (Sports) were also applauded for their achievements.
