Azad laments over abandonment of 3-shift work culture in J&K introduced in 2008

DODA: Chairman Democratic Azad Party (DAP) and former Chief Minister J&K, Gulam Nabi Azad, on Sunday said that the three shift work culture introduced by him during his short tenure as Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir has been given a complete goodbye by the successive government after 2008.
“DAP will ensure to start a fast-track developmental era once again so that all the problems being faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir in general and the far flung rural areas in particular are sorted out,” Azad said while addressing various deputations, here.
The deputations from various blocks of Doda which included deputations of SC and ST and people from all walks of life informed Azad about the problem and difficulties faced by them for the last few years. They said people are facing deficiency of medical staff and doctors and slow pace of working at Doda Medical College.
They informed Azad about the absolute unemployment of the youth of this most backward area of Jammu and Kashmir.
The people who came in large numbers were assured by Azad that the issues raised would be taken up with all concerned for immediate redressal.
Meanwhile, hundreds of people of the area joined the DAP in presence of Ghulam Nabi Azad.
