JAMMU: A meeting of Sewa Niketan Ashram, Gadi Garh was held under the aegis of Mahant Daya Shanker Puri to discuss the modalities to celebrate the Maha Shivratri falling on 7th March, 2016. Mahant Puri said that large numbers of devotees across the country are expected to attend the holy celebration of Shri Mahashivratri.
On deliberating the entire programme, he informed that the programme will start on 5th March by performing Havan followed Kirtan (chanting of bhajans) and Paath. He said that on 7th March, the programme will start at 4:00 AM with special Pooja, Yagya, Shiv Satuti, Archna, Shiv Bath and Jal Abhishk, besides at 9:15 AM Guru Isnan (bath), 10:15 AM Nagar Pheri, 12:30 Noon Langer and after that Kirtan entire night. He made an appeal to all people to participate in the holy programme and get blessings of Bhagwan Shiva.
