JAMMU: The Government on Friday nominated nodal officer for coordination with TATA Memorial Institute, Mohali, Chandigarh for establishment of State Cancer Institute (SCI) at Jammu.
“Dr. Jitender Mehta, Programme Manager, National Health Mission, is nominated as Nodal Officer for coordination with TATA Memorial Institute, Mohali, Chandigarh with regard to matter relating to State Cancer Institute at Jammu,” read n order issued by Bhupinder Kumar, Secretary, Health & Medical Education Department.
“The officer shall directly coordinate with various stakeholders and shall be single point of contact,” it added.
