Chief Postmaster General, Ajatshatru Singh release ‘Pictorial Cancellation’ on Raghunath Temple

JAMMU: Department of Posts, Jammu and Kashmir Circle on Sunday released a Permanent Pictorial Cancellation on Raghunath ji Temple Jammu in the premises of the Raghunath ji Temple in presence of a substantial gathering of locals, philatelists and postal staff. The Permanent Pictorial Cancellation was released by Niraj Kumar, Chief Postmaster General, J&K Circle in the presence of Ajatshatru Singh, Trustee J&K Dharmarth Trust, Ritu Singh, Ajay Gandotra President J&K Dharmarth Trust and Dr Shikha Mathur Kumar, GM Finance West Bengal Circle.
Speaking on the occasion, Niraj has extended best wishes to the people of Jammu on the eve of Deepawali and said that the Department of Posts today gave Deepawali gift to the public of Jammu.
He informed that outgoing unregistered and registered articles as well as speed posts letters and parcels booked from Jammu will be impressed with the impression of this Permanent Pictorial Cancellation and the people receiving the articles in other parts of the country will have holy Darshan of Raghunath ji Temple Jammu at their homes.
Ajatshatru in his address said that the Department of Posts has done an excellent job by commemorating Raghunath ji Temple.
Ajay Gandotra said that the entire administration of Raghunath ji Temple is happy with the release of Pictorial Cancellation by the Department of Posts, J&K Circle.
Niraj Kumar said that in the coming days, all the important future heritage buildings, famous personalities belonging to the Jammu region will be commemorated by the Department of Posts by releasing special covers and pictorial cancellations.
