JAMMU: The Government on Monday nominated Lieutenant Governor’s Advisor Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar as Chairmperson/ Vice Chairman of eight Boards, Councils and Corporations in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to an order issued by Dr Piyush Singla, Secretary, General Administration Department, Rajeev Rai Bhatnagar has been nominated as Chairman of Governing Body of J&K Social Welfare Board, J&K Advisory Board for the Welfare and Development of Schedule Castes, Board of Directors of J&K Women’s Development Corporation, Board of Directors of J&K Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and Backward Classes Development Corporation and Governing Committee for J&K Child Protection Society.
Similarly, Bhatnagar has been appointed Vice Chairman of J&K Advisory Board for the Welfare and Development of Other Backward Classes, J&K Advisory Board for the Development of Pahari Speaking People and Rehabilitation of Widows, Orphans, Handicapped and Old Persons (Victims of Militancy).
