LEH: BJP Ladakh organised ‘Mega Assembly’ at Choglamsar in Leh to brief about Modi Sarkar’s relentless developments in Ladakh and also on the upcoming plans for the overall development of Ladakh region.
The programme started with a welcome speech by District President Leh, Tashi Khachu.
BJP leaders and Executive members from Leh, Nubra, Kargil and Zanskar besides BDCs, Sarpanches, Panches, Gobas, village members; presidents/representatives of various Tsogspa from villages and head of Organizations/Unions. Hundreds of people attended the Mega Assembly which was addressed by MP Ladakh Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, Chairman LAHDC Leh Adv. Tashi Gyalson, BJP State President Phunchok Stanzin and other leaders.
Speakers highlighted some of the major developments brought in Ladakh by Modi Government like fulfilling the demand of the Union Territory to Ladakh with the allotment of funds of Rs 6000 crore as annual budget.
They informed recruitment drives have already started in Ladakh and very soon LAHD-SSRB Leh will notify the vacancies in consultation with all the departments.
Leaders also refuted allegations by the oppositions regarding safeguards to Ladakh and the land Act which they called as false propaganda.
Allotment of ample of funds for the Northern Grid Power Supply specially in the far-flung areas of Ladakh, presenting Private Bill in Lok Sabha to include Bhoti Language in the 8th Schedule of Indian Constituency, development in the education sector by having the University of Ladakh, Deemes to be University status to CIBS, sanctioning of Sindhu Central University and Medical & Engineering colleges were among achievements the ruling party shared with the people of Ladakh. “Modi Sarkar with the vision of Digital India connected the uncovered and the most far-flung areas/villages of Ladakh with the rest of the world by installing ample of BSNL & Jio towers”, MP Ladakh informed.
New members from different villages who voluntarily joined Bharatiya Janata Party were welcomed with Khataks by the BJP leaders on the occasion.
