NOWSHERA: Though the Election Schedule has been issued by the Chief Election Commission for the State of Jammu and Kashmir but the voters of Nowshera Constituency have still not received the Election Photo Identity Cards (EPIC).
While interacting with STATE TIMES number of voters said that they visited the office of Tehsildar (Election Branch) number of times but they were not issued the cards. The officials informed them that their cards have been sent to headquarters. They said that the EPICs would be issued after their office will receive the same.
These voters have appealed to the District Election Officer (DEO) to issue suitable instructions to the concerned quarters to issue election cards so that they are not deprived of their right to vote.
