JAMMU: JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi celebrated International Peace Day.
Pooja Sharma of JKPS Panjtirthi commenced the celebration and explained as to how we can make our planet a peaceful planet to live.
Jakiians lauded the theme of International Day of Peace 2022 ‘End Racism, Build Peace’. The theme focuses on promoting harmony among the various communities.
With a message of importance of peace, harmony, empathy and non violence in life, a skit was exhibited by jakiians.
Jakiian recited slogan “Do not let behaviour of others destroy your inner peace at any cost.”
Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi Suman Banbah urged the students to imbibe the value of love, harmony and non violence to live a successful life.
She added, “International Peace day encourages embracing diversity with peace and acceptance.
It was an enriching experience for the students as they realized the importance of unity and peace and I hope that the students will promote peace in all walks of their life.”
