Joint parties of Police and Army recovered arms/ ammunition at Hathlanga Uri

Based on a specific intelligence input by agencies regarding presence of cache of arms/ ammuniton in area of Hathlanga Uri; joint parties of Baramulla Police and Army 3 Rajput today launched search operation in wee hours near Hathlanga area of Uri sector including Hathlanga nallah which led to the recovery of following arms/ ammunition:-

AK-47 Rifle- 01 No.
AK Magazine- 01 No’s
AK 47 Ammunition – 28 rounds

Case under Indian Arms Act registered in Police Station Uri and investigation set in motion.
