JAMMU: Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh High Court upheld detention under Public Safety Act (PSA) of two who are Over-Ground Workers of Jaish-e-Mohd Terrorist Organization. Justice Sanjay Dhar, while dismissing petitions filed by Syed Mohammad Azhar Amin Shah and Rayees Ahmad Bhat, observed that a perusal of grounds of detention revealed that while summing up the activities of the petitioner, the detaining authority has clearly recorded its satisfaction that the activities of the petitioner are highly prejudicial to the security of the state and it is on this ground only that the impugned order of detention has been passed. There is, thus, no doubt in mind of the detaining authority as to the nature of the activities in which the petitioner is alleged to have been indulging, the Court observed.
