SAMBA: On the directions of Chief Agriculture Officer Samba, Sanjay Verma, a camp was organizsd by the Agriculture Department at Block Office Rajpura of Samba district the Capex Budget 2022-23. SDM Ghagwal, Ramkesh Sharma was mainly present in the camp along with BDC Chairman Radhey Shyam, Sarpanch Suresh Basotra and officers of Agriculture Department were present. In the camp, department has started distributing seeds of Gobi, Radish, Spinach, Coriander to the farmers at half price and farmers are reaching to collect seeds at Rajpura block office. During the camp, SDM Ramkesh Sharma said that the farmers of Rajpura should do their own farming and don’t give their land on rent to outsiders. Agriculture Extension Officer, Rajpura Vijay Choudhary also addressed the farmers. Junior Agriculture Extension Officer Sham Lal Sharma, Prithvi Pal, Sumit Dutta, Mani Ram, AEA Vikas Sharma were also present.
