JAMMU: Stephens International Public School on Saturday organised an orientation programme
for parents of children who are studying in primary segment.
The key points discussed in programme were related to healthy parenting, curriculum discussion, boosting the children to be independent, encouraging them for self study habit and not going for tuition classes.
The programme was divided into two sessions which were taken up by Headmistress Jyotica Shafaat who laid emphasis to encourage their children to read books.
“This will go a long way in developing good communication and language skills. Nurture the creative skills of your child, encourage positive attitude, ensure constructive interaction, exaggerate your child’s strengths, shower praises on him and be there when your child needs you,” Shafaat told to the parents.
Present among the others were the Director of the School, Satvinder Saini, Principal, Shibu Mathew K and staff member of primary segment.
