JAMMU: Police on Thursday arrested a nacro-smuggler and recovered 5.5 grams heroin from his possession.
According to a report, police team from Police Post Chatha during Naka checking at Hakkal Morh arrested one drug peddler namely Rakesh Kumar alias Montu, son of Makhan Lal, resident of Ward No 2 Bhour Camp. During his search police recovered 5.5 gms of heroin and one electronic weighing machine. A case under relevant section was registered against him. The arrest was made by the Incharge Police Post Chatha SI Krishan Raina under the supervision of Inspector Manjit Singh SHO Police Station Satwari, Sachin Gupta SDPO South, Shazad Salaria SP City South and overall supervision of Uttam Chand SSP Jammu.
