SAMBA: After failing to repay crores of rupees as loan, the police and revenue department on late Thursday night sealed the Hotel 17 miles and handed over its possession to the management of Punjab and Sind Bank. Sources informed that as the owners of Hotel 17 miles failed to repay the loan, the bank had approached the court to get the hotel sealed and taking over its possession.
On court orders the team of revenue officers and police entered into the hotel by breaking the back wall as the hotel owners were not allowing the joint team of revenue and police to enter into the hotel building.
Soon after taking the control over the building, the district administration handed over the possession of the Hotel 17 miles to the management of Punjab and Sind Bank.
