SRINAGAR: Soujanya Kumar Sharma who was recently posted as Director Information J and K on Tuesday took over the charge of the department.
Soujanya Kumar comes with rich experience of working with media and he has already served the Department as Joint Director Information Jammu, Joint Director Information Kashmir and also Director Information in his previous stint.
A member of J and K Information Service, Soujanya has also held several key positions in the State administration including Director Tourism Jammu, Administrator Kala Kendra Jammu, Executive Director Mubarak Mandi Heritage Society, Chief Executive Officer, Surinsar-Mansar Development Authority etc.
Media fraternity has hailed the posting of the Mr. Soujanya hoping it would further cement the relations between media and the government.
