Slams Jairam Ramesh for demeaning nationalist RSS

JAMMU: Coming down heavily on Congress General Secretary, Jairam Ramesh over his remark against RSS for not doing much in Indian freedom struggle, senior BJP leader and former Dy CM Kavinder Gupta said that oldest political party’s policy fiascos and wrong moves destroyed and divided the country on many fronts.
In a statement issued here today, the former Deputy Chief Minister, said to undo the damage caused to the country since 1947 there is only one option before the people of the country and that is Congress Mukt Bharat because given chance again, it will further break the country into more smaller pieces as the only aim of this party is to sustain dynastic politics and be in power without thinking for a while the price the country is paying for this useless obsession.
Talking about the contentious Article 370, Kavinder said that it was designed and implemented by Pt Jawaharlal Nehru in connivance with NC founder Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah without giving a thought over its implications on the nationalist people of the country especially those living in the erstwhile state of J&K.
He said that the then Praja Parishad took up the issue vociferously but Congress being in power overruled the right demand and put a stamp on the wrong move which has been set right after several decades by the Modi government on August 5, 2019 by declaring null and void the Article 370.
He said that against the move by Jawaharlal Nehru, it was Praja Parishad in J&K that raised Tricolour to give the message that J&K is the integral part of India and no power can negate this.
Raising another vital issue, Kavinder said that RSS founder K B Hedgewar and Dr SP Mukerjee were earlier with Congress but after getting the knowledge about Congress toeing line of being dynastic party, they parted ways and later came up with RSS, which is the biggest nationalist organization of the country.
Kavinder said that BJP and RSS do not need any certificate from Congress party for this is the party which is responsible for making India weak on different counts and despite being the oldest party of the country could not prove its worth as a nationalist party because its interests allegedly match with interests of India’s adversaries China and Pakistan as proved through attitude of its leadership on various occasions.
