Basohli: Under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, the NSS unit and Department of Zoology, GDC, Basohli jointly organised a ‘Nukkad Natak’ in the Ramleela ground Basohli to create awareness about the Har Ghar Trinaga campaign and to inculcate patriotic feeling among the people. The programme was organised under the patronage of Dr. Nidhi Kotwal, Principal of the college and further supervised by Dr. Shiv Kumar, NSS, Programme Officer and Head Deptt of Zoology. About 50 NSS volunteers participated in the event and performed in front of local people and students of nearby schools. Through the Natak, they conveyed the message of nationalism and appealed the audience to hoist the national flag on the roof of their houses with all due respect. Dr. Nancy Khajuria and Dr. Jeevan were also present at the event.
