Army provides stationery to students of GPS Maharajpur

KATHUA: Under the Operation Sadbhavna, Gurj Division of the Army distributed educational materials to children in the Government Primary School Maharajpur of Chhan Laldin, the border Panchayat of Kathua district, bordering the Indo-Pakistan International Border. The faces of the children also blossomed when they got bags, pens, pencils, note books, and geometry boxes. White boards were also provided to school, on which the teachers expressed their gratitude to the army officers.
Gagan Deep, Teacher of Government primary School Maharajpur, said that the Army has selected the schools in the border area under Operation Sadbhavna and hoped to bring peace to such schools in future also, because almost the children are from poor families and farmer families. DDC Member Abhinandan Sharma, Sarpanch Vikram Singh, Naib Sarpanch Sumanlata, school students, teachers, village people and army officers were present.
