JAMMU: Danish Mishra, Co-Incharge Social Media Department and Prabhari Jammu Poonch Lok Sabha Seat, BJP, J&K, appealed to people in the Union Territory of J&K to make the Har Ghar Tiranga movement a successful event as it is the matter of pride for every Indian.
In a statement issued to media persons, the BJP leader said that Har Ghar Tiranga movement is required to be made popular not by force but by the will of every citizen because the Tricolour is a symbol of India’s greatness. He said that the Saffron band of Tiranga tells about the strength and courage of the country, the white symbolizes peace and truth with Dharma Chakra and the green shows the fertility, growth and auspiciousness of diversity of the people.
Danish said that people in the UT of J&K should come out and hoist Tirangas atop their homes and hearth to show solidarity with fellow countrymen and express the magnanimity of the country through their terraces, rooftops and balconies. He said that the Centre has tweaked the Flag Code for the sake of this significant movement therefore no one in the UT should show lethargy in hoisting a Tiranga during August 13 to August 15.
The BJP leader said that such initiatives are of great value as these sprout nationalism among the people and connect them with the roots through the route of patriotism. He said that J&K should look unique in the sense that every household must hoist the National Flag without fail so that the world once again gets the exact idea about patriotism of people of the Union Territory.
