JAMMU: Shri Ranbireshwar Mandir Welfare Committee (SRMWC) on Monday released the calendar of New Year 2015 with dates of holidays depicting photo of Lord Shri Ranbireshwar Shiv Shankar Mahadev on it.
The proceedings of the programme, organised at Shri Ranbireshar Temple Shalamar Road, were conducted by Spokesperson and Legal Advisor of the Committee Jyoti Sarup Mishra.
Onkar Sharma (Nandi Ji) President of the Committee was Chief Guest on the occasion.
Mishra said that with the blessings of the Mahant of the Temple Rishi Ban Committee is doing commendable job for the benefit of poor and needy people.
He said committee launched this calendar for the first time and this programme will continue in future also.
He lauded Computer Operator Gourav Sharma who has got innovative mind and designed such a wonderful calendar. He said anyone can get calendar from the President of the Committee free of cost. He informed that initially committee has published 2000 copies of calendar and if needs occur more copies of calendar will be published as per requirement.
Mahant Rishi Ban also spoke on the occasion and lauded the efforts of the committee in spreading the message of peace and brotherhood across the State.
The other members of the committee who were present on the occasion were Shiv Kumar Sharma (Vice President) , Rajkumar Gupta (Secretary), Amit Gupta (Secretary) , Narender Vaid , Mandeep Sharma (Secretary), Deepak Sharma ( Press and Publicity Incharge), Advocate Jyoti Sarup Mishra ( Spokesperson and Legal Advisor ), Dr. Sunny Gupta, Rekha Sharma ( President women wing ), Daali Abrol ( Gen Sec Women wing ) and Surinder Bhagat.
