JAMMU: The Union Government on Thursday ordered promotion of four IPS officers of J&K-AGMUT cadre.
“In pursuance to the recommendations of the Review Screening Committee in its meeting held on July 1, 2022 and with the with the approval of the Competent Authority, three IPS officers of AGMUT Cadre presently posted in the cadre are promoted to the ADGP Grade (Level-15 in the pay matrix) with effect from the date of assumption of the charge,” read an order issued by Rakesh Kumar Singh, Under Secretary, MHA.
“IPS Officers of 1997 batch Garib Das, Vijay Kumar and Alok Kumar have been promoted to ADGP grade,” it stated. Further, Viplav Kumar Choudhry, presently posted on Central Deputation is granted proforma promotion in the ADGP grade (Level-15 in the pay matrix) from the date of assumption of charge,” it added.
