JAMMU: Newly elected DGPC Jammu office bearers expressed gratitude to the entire Sikh Sangat of Jammu District for their overwhelming support in electing new members by deposing faith in them and giving them an opportunity to serve the Sikh community by managing the Gurdwara affairs in a transparent manner and as per the aspirations of the Sikh Sangat within the ambit of J&K Sikh Gurdwara and Religious Endowment Act.
DGPC President, Ranjeet Singh along with other office bearers Balwinder Singh Vice President, Suneet Singh Secretary, Singh Joint Secretary, Jagpal Singh Treasurer, Gurmeet Singh, Harjeet Singh Incharge Dharam Parchar Committee, Karon Singh Bali (member DGPC), while addressing the press conference, assured the Sikh Sangat that they will put all best possible efforts to live up to the expectations of Sikh Sangat of Jammu. Further, Balwinder Singh said that DGPC Jammu decided to celebrate Gurpurab celebration on July 5 in connection with the birth anniversary of Guru Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib at Gurdwara Talli Sahib Jammu. “This Gurpurab celebration will be celebrated from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM and Guru Ka Langar shall be served simultaneously,” he said adding that besides local Ragi Jathas of Bhai Davinder Singh and Bhai Rattan Singh Both Hazuri Ragi Jathaas of DGPC Jammu, other prominent Ragi Jathas and Tadi Jathas participating from outside the state are Bhai Davinder Singh Hazuri Ragi Sri Darbar Sahib, Bhai Nachattar Singh Parcharak Gurmat Gyan Missionary College, Ludhiana & Tadi Jatha of Bhai Gurpreet Singh. Others persons present in the press conference include Rajinder Singh Sudan, Janak Singh, Manjit Singh, Sharanjit Singh, Surinder Singh Wazir, Jasbir Singh, Makhan Singh, Kulvinder Singh and Parfulat Singh.
