Akhnoor: Suresh Sharma, Member District Development Council, on Monday inaugurated the work of laying asphalt on the road leading to Ward No. 7 of Panchayat Dhanna Jalada of Block Chowki Chaura.
Addressing the people, Suresh Sharma said,” in the coming days, all the roads in the area will be made Pucca, there will be paved roads in every street and locality. The tender process of many roads has been completed and work will be started on those roads soon.”
Apart from this, Suresh Sharma said, “under PMGSY and NABARD, big projects of roads will be made in Block Maira Mandrian and Chowki Chaura, for which efforts are going, DPRs of some roads have been prepared and many are being prepared so that there will be convenience for people to commute”.
BDC Chowki Chaura Rahul Dev Sharma, former Sarpanch Radhe Shyam, Panch Mahendra Pal Sharma, Sarpanch Dori Surendra Pal, Panch Sham lal, Naib Sarpanch Subhash Chander, former Sarpanch Ramesh Lal, Anil Kumar ,Vishnu das, Sachin Sharma, Ajay Kumar, Engineers of the department and others were also present.
