BHADARWAH: GR Azad Club, Bhadarwah defeated Masood Football Club, Bhadarwah in a close contest by 6-5 and won the final Football Tournament, organied by Rashtriya Rifle Battalion, located at Bhadarwah, under Delta Force at Degree College Ground, here on Saturday.
The tournament was organised to make the youth aware against drugs and motivate them towards sports activities.
A total of eight teams of different clubs/schools from Bhadarwah participated in the tournament. The matches were played on knockout basis.
During the closing ceremony, Rector, Jammu University, G.M Bhatt appreciated the efforts of the Indian Army and GR Azad Sports Club in promoting the awareness against drugs and motivating the youth towards sports while organising such activities.
