JAMMU: The Banquet Hall of Hotel Zone by the Park witnessed the congregation of principals of the CBSE affiliated schools under the banner of Sahodaya Schools Complex (JSSC) Jammu Chapter for the Annual General Body Meeting.
The meeting was chaired by the Election officers of JSSC, K.C.S Mehta, Academic Director, IDPS Akhnoor and Dr. Pramod Srivastava, Principal Model Academy, Jammu.
Both of them jointly welcomed the members and also deliberated upon the proceedings of the meeting.
The warmth was vividly felt in the House when the whistle for the election of new members of the Executive Body was sounded, and the secret ballot voting brought forth the much-awaited results.
Rajesh Rathore, Principal, JK Public School, Kunjwani Jammu got elected as the President of Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex (JSSC) for 2 year term from 2022-24.
Dr. Kunal Anand, Principal DPS Udhampur was elected as the Vice President, JSSC; K.L Dogra, Principal, MV International School, Samba as the Secretary (Finance); Ranju Malhotra, Principal, DBN Amarvilla as the Secretary (Media & Information) & Randip Wazir, Principal, International Delhi Public School, Jammu as the Joint Secretary.
After the declaration of the result, the formal welcome and felicitation of the newly elected Executive Committee members of JSSC was done by Vijay Puri, Director Shemford Futuristic School, Jammu, K.C.S Mehta, Academic Director, IDPS Akhnoor and Dr. Pramod Srivastava, outgoing President JSSC.
Delivering the first Presidential address, the newly elected President, Rajesh Rathore, Principal JKPS Kunjwani, thanked all the members for reposing faith in the new Executive committee.
He made a fair promise to the member school Principals, affirming solidarity and collaboration to realise the vision of Sahodaya in true spirit and make Jammu Sahodaya scale greater heights in next two years.
He promised the audience that JSSC shall leave no stone unturned in charting out new frontiers of growth & excellence for the member schools, students & teachers.
The Executive Committee reiterates its firm belief in maintaining the transparency, professional approach & incredible work culture. Anything which is ought to be done must be done with efficiency & responsibility. JSSC Executive Committee shall release a comprehensive Training programme calender for the students & staff shortly”.
Proposing the vote of thanks, Dr. Pramod Srivastava, the outgoing President JSSC, appreciated all the members of the complex for being extremely supportive and responsible during the most challenging COVID times. He applauded the relentless efforts put in by his team in augmenting and strengthening the Jammu Sahodaya School Complex, Jammu chapter.
While the counting of votes was in progress, versatile Principals of Jammu Sahodaya exhibited their talent & conducted a musical session, wherein Dr. Vikesh Kour, Principal Doon International School Jammu; Puneet Kour, Principal APS Jammu Cantt; Arindam Roy Choudhury, Principal GD Goenka Public School, Jammu, Rajesh Gandral, Principal, Banyan International School Jammu & Rajesh Rathore, Principal, JKPS Kunjwani enthralled the audience with their soulful singing.
