Jammu Bar urges Govt to fulfill demands of health employees

JAMMU: The J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu held a meeting under the Chairmanship of its president Senior Advocate M.K Bhardawaj to discuss the communication sent by J&K Medical Employees Federation, Jammu to the Bar Association and requested the Association to support their long pending demands.
In the above mentioned communication it is stated that Govt. has constantly delayed, denied and avoided their genuine demands, because of which their families have been struggling for their livelihood and they have been socially disturbed.
The meeting was participated by all the office bearers namely Mohinder Pal Singh Pali, Adv. Vice President, Surjeet Singh Andotra, Adv. General Secretary, Aditya Sharma, Adv. Joint Secretary, S. Amandeep Singh, Adv. Treasurer and Mr. Rohit Sharma, YLA President, S. Gagandeep Singh (Lucky) Vice President, Yaseer Farooq Khan YLA Gen Secretary, Karanjeet Singh Johal, YLA Joint Secretary, Naresh Kumar, YLA Treasurer many other members of the Bar Association.
The Association, in order to support the demands of JKMEF Jammu, urged upon the UT Administration to consider the demands of Federation, who are protesting for their salary of Female Multipurpose Health Worker which is pending from the last five months, Registration of Pharmacist and other various demands.
Bhardwaj urged upon the Lt Governor UT of J&K to personally look in to the matter of the poor who are serving in the Department for the last many years and entitled for salary every month.
Bhardwaj further urged upon the UT Administration to disburse the back wages and other benefits in favor of employees who are rendering essential services to the public at large and also urged upon the UT Administration to redress their other demands also. As we know that it is very difficult to survive in the present time of dearness.
