JAMMU: JKPCC has taken a dig at BJP for the celebrations of eight years of Modi government and it’s senior leaders terming the innocent killings as” Chhut Put gatna”, which shows the insensitiveness of BJP towards the innocent killings in Kashmir.
Reacting sharply to the highly outrageous comments of a Senior BJP leader and former MLA Baldev Raj terming the killings as “chhut put matter,” JKPCC termed it shameful and asked the party to apologise to the families of the martyrs.
The ruling party is celebrating the eight years of BJP government while innocents are getting killed, minorities are fleeing from Kashmir, Kashmir Pandits and Jammu employees are protesting for shifting to safer places and the government has held migrant employees hostage inside their camps.
“The insensitiveness of the ruling BJP is very unfortunate and shows it’s lack of pain and concern towards the innocent sufferings and the worrisome situation in Kashmir , spreading elsewhere. It’s irresponsible conduct is like “Rome was burning, the Nero was dancing, “JKPCC Chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma said.
The party sought cancellation of the excursions to the cool climate of Kashmir, of proposed 70 central ministers, except those dealing with security situation, to not to disturb the concentration of security forces from dealing with prevailing sensitive situation.
The Congress demanded entire concentration of the administration over the security situation and law and order and ensuring safety of innocents besides smooth conduct of Shri Amarnaath Yatra and other such holy Yatras in next two months.
All celebrations and other non essential activities should be cancelled or postponed during this period.
