DODA: The ongoing Inter District Zonal Level Sports tournament on Friday (Day 3) witnessed competitions for U 17 Girls in the disciplines of Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Volleyball, Chess, Carrom, Badminton here at Sports Stadium Doda on Friday. The event witnessed the participation of around 283 Girl students drawn from 10 zones of District Doda. The main incentive of the tournament was to select the best Girls student players for In-inter District Division level Tournament which will be held at Jammu. In Volleyball, zone Doda defeated zone Bhatyas, while in Chess, zone Assar defeated Zona Doda. The final match of Carrom was won by zone Bhala by defeating zone Doda. The Tug of War finals was won by Zone Gundna by defeating zone Doda. Similarly, the Badminton final was clinched by Zone Bhaderwah defeating Zone Gundna. In Kabaddi, zone Bhalessa defeated Zone Doda and in Kho-Kho zone Bhala defeated zone Bhagwah.
The matches were officiated by the panel of technical Committee of the department of youth services and sports.
