Minister felicitates Saqlian Tariq

JAMMU: For making it to the Indian team that played in the 10th Youth Asian Volleyball Championship held in Sri Lanka, Saqlain Tariq of Poonch was honoured by Minister for PHE, Sham Lal Sharma on the sidelines of the valedictory function of inter-district under-19 boys’ volleyball tournament held at Akhnoor.
Minister was all praise for the young and promising spiker and patted him for making the State proud of his distinguished achievement. Minister congratulated the family of Saqlain, especially his father, Mohammad Tariq for producing the international stuff from remote district of Poonch.
The minister hoped that Saqlain’s achievement will go a long way in encouraging the other young and talented players of the State.
